Basic Purpose:
The Investment Operations Data Operations Specialist will assist in the analysis and maintenance of investment and portfolio data. This role will support the timely delivery of high-quality data to all users.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Responsible for completing all assigned tasks related to creating, monitoring and maintaining the integrity of critical investment systems data used by investment management, marketing, and sales teams.
• Assist with data validation projects as assigned, including but not limited to accounts, entities, and securities.
• Assist with various systems projects assigned, including but not limited to efforts bring new data into the firm’s data warehouse and new uses of the data across the firm.
• Work with investment and sales personnel to define and create reports that improve access to information related to investment and market data.
• Respond to ad hoc requests for investment and client data.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a business or finance related field.
• One to three years of operations and/or data management experience a plus
• Experience with Eagle PACE, Aladdin, FactSet, Markit EDM (Cadis), SQL, or Bloomberg applications a plus
• Experience with security master data a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail with a positive, enthusiastic attitude
• Willingness to occasionally work off hours
