Department -Client Strategies Group - Solutions & CEI Consultation
The Client Strategies Group is responsible for leading the firm in ensuring our clients are on track to meet their financial goals. Solutions & CEI Consultation, a team within CSG, exists to lead the evolution from product-based to solutions-based advise by driving the strategy and adoption of the firm's goal-based financial planning tools and resources.
Description
As a Level II Solutions Strategist, you will lead and support the identification and execution of strategies that allow branch teams to help clients achieve their goals. This position plays a critical role in leading and supporting cross-divisional groups of leaders and associates to help identify, prioritize, develop, launch and drive adoption of the firm's goal-based financial planning tools and resources. You will be relied upon as a subject matter expert on the firm's advice and guidance, financial planning tools, and how they're leveraged to help client's define and achieve their financial goals.
Responsibility Summary
Lead and support the work to define the strategy for our goal-based financial planning tools and resources.
Lead and support cross divisional groups of leaders and associates to prioritize and execute the strategy; deploying the firm's change management framework to launch and drive adoption of new and enhanced goal-based planning tools and resources.
Serve as a subject matter expert across the organization on the knowledge and tools required to deliver a solutions-based appointment and help clients define and achieve their financial goals.
Balance the demands of multiple complex projects simultaneously, with a high degree of visibility and urgency, often with overlapping timeframes and spanning multiple areas across the firm/division
Position Requirements
Qualifications Required in the Job: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• 2-7 years of industry experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience leading project teams of leaders and associates with different functional backgrounds and interests to achieve strong results
• Strong understanding of the financial planning process and investment concepts, practices, and procedures used by financial advisors in the financial services industry
• Able to synthesize high volumes of information from multiple sources to develop conclusions and recommendations
• Demonstrated strength and ability to present at different levels of the organization
• Series 7 & 66 required or attainable within 6 months of hire
• Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) or previous financial advisor experience strongly preferred.
