Job Description
The UBI Product Transformation Manager is responsible for advancing the capabilities of the use of telematics data and the integration of new technologies within the auto lines towards a long-term vision. This individual will act as the Product business sponsor to advocate for the use of external telematics data across the enterprise. Key accountabilities include monitoring technology and industry trends, managing the end to end approach to the obtaining and using external sources telematics data beyond current UBI programs (Drivewise, Milewise) and appropriate incorporation of this data into the consumer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Identify enterprise stakeholders necessary to execute work and drive collaborating around the organization in alignment towards a common goal.
Lead projects designed to leverage external telematics data in existing operations across AOR’s
Act as the primary contact with Arity and external Data Aggregators for the Products specific telematics use cases
Partner with Arity and D3 to develop cohesive strategies to ensure maximum benefit to Allstate Enterprise
Demonstrates subject matter expertise in business strategy to help influence senior leadership decisions
Lead the gathering/development of program requirements and work closely with project managers to ensure the necessary planning occurs
Lead cross functional discussions with subject matter experts in telematics, pricing, claims, marketing, etc. within Allstate and in the industry
Maintain APL Go to Market process expertise and adhere to all required steps / sequencing (e.g. Peer Reviews, CBA development, Post Launch Reviews, etc.)
Manage and lead development of 3 year plan (roadmap) for assigned work according to APL and Product Operations governance standards and timelines
Monitor early business results/key performance indicators of program, as well as quality results and identify opportunities/support necessary enhancements to improve results
Job Qualifications
Experience: 7+ years of relatable insurance industry experience, minimum of 5+ years of product management and telematics experience preferred
Experience leading and working with virtual teams
Demonstrate clear, concise and effective oral and written communication skills, combined with the ability to influence others
Ability to concentrate/thrive when a wide range of loosely defined complex situations exist, which require application of creativity and originality
Ability to measure, evaluate, and act on results, both financial and operational
Proven ability to effectively facilitate meetings with/conduct presentations to senior leadership
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
Advanced cross-AoR program management and time management skills
Knowledge of Allstate objectives, structure, policies and procedures
Ability to establish, manage and leverage relationships with internal and external partners
Ability to collaborate across boundaries to implement decisions and/or initiatives in an integrated manner
Ability to think strategically, conceptually and analytically
Ability to analyze and interpret concepts and data; Ability to solve problems
Intermediate change management and process design/management skills
