Overview
• The HRIS/Operations team is responsible for all HR systems, security, process and employee transaction processing. The HR Operations Specialist II is responsible for all employee transaction handling, including onboarding new hires and all employee change data requests. The role also works closely with the Senior Manager to assist in system documentation, project tracking and execution and system security.
Job Description
• Day to day responsibility for processing employee information and maintaining employee records within the HRIS.
• Primary support to employees in trouble-shooting user issues related to HR Systems
• Liaison between the company and the new hires for completion of new-hire paperwork and proper onboarding of new employees
• Processes all separations for the company in a timely manner
• Must ensure data integrity is upheld in the HRIS system
• First line of communications for all job related changes for all employees they are responsible for servicing
• Follows directions to ensure that SOX and federal and state law compliance related to system objectives.
• Assists in creating and following company policy/procedures related to the HRIS and employee data
• Working in a highly data sensitive environment, responsible for protecting Data Privacy at all time and adhering to confidentiality requirements to promote zero breach of compliance policies
• Maintenance of all master data and ensuring integrity at all times
• Import and export of data into the HRIS system and review output for accuracy
• Assists with documentation all HR system changes for training materials and process documentation
• Assists in identifying new HR needs and the software products to fulfill those needs
• Facilitates streamlining of process for the company and system functionality
• Employee and Manager Self Service support which includes but not limited to workflow, delegating, updates, trouble-shooting and training
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Ideal Candidate will have the following:
• Skills & Abilities: (Include any required computer skills, regulatory knowledge, certifications, licenses, languages, etc)
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal & written) with an ability to listen & respond to customer queries
• Ability to maintain highly confidential and sensitive information
• Multi-tasking experience in a fast-paced environment, completing work tasks with speed and accuracy in a detailed work environment.
• Strong HR systems aptitude and ability to learn and become an expert in the HR systems at PennyMac, as well as the ability to train others in their use
• Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word
• Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently
• Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast paced environment
• Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical and sound judgment skills
• Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred
• Strong business acumen and ability to interface with all levels of management
• Ability to understand data and what it means
• Ability to troubleshoot user issues as related to organization hierarchy, workflow issues, HR and financial hierarchy integration; and all employee master data
