About the Role:
This position is a newly created role in Prudential’s Customer Office, and the successful candidate will work on the development and execution of talent sourcing strategies to expand and build Customer Office presence in international markets, initially focused on Latin America and Asia Pacific.
This role will interface with Prudential International Insurance (PII) home office, regional and in-country teams, Human Resource Centers of Expertise and Human Resource Business Partners.
This position will report to the Vice President, Talent Acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the creation of the Customer Office International talent acquisition framework for expansion, initially into Latin America and Asia Pacific.
• Manage end-to-end talent searches, including implementing innovative techniques to identify, assess, present and make recommendations on candidates.
• Work closely with PII leadership and in-country teams to understand their specialized needs and assist in the development of complex offers.
• Work one-on-one with leading candidates, providing ‘high touch’ partnership throughout the recruitment and on-boarding processes.
• Source candidates to build a database of local and regional talent, conducting benchmarking and market intelligence
• Build proactive relationships with passive candidates to engage for current and future opportunities.
• Identify emerging recruiting platforms and techniques in local markets to optimize sourcing and talent pipelining Address time zone and cultural norms through flexible work arrangements, and travel to local regions as warranted to drive successful talent acquisition strategies.
Qualifications:
• BA/BS required
• Minimum 5 years’ of experience in talent acquisition with corporate or executive search firms
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Collaborative team player, with the ability to work across a matrixed organization in different markets
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the proven ability to ‘close’ complex offers
• Proven ability to take the lead in developing and presenting detailed offer letters in collaboration with Law, Compensation, outside counsel, hiring executives and HR business partners.
• Ability to juggle different projects/priorities and deliver high quality outcomes under pressure.
• Demonstrated high level of personal accountability, integrity and authenticity
• Experience sourcing for highly technical roles in international markets is a plus
• Willing to travel to international markets 15-20% of the time the first year
