Manage strategies, services, training and sales results for the assigned Mutual of Omaha Investor Services' product line. Provide agent training and practice management to increase advisor recruiting, retention and production.
Essential Job Functions:
• Assists senior management with the development and implementation of national sales and marketing plans to meet the sales goals for Advisory products. Works with individual regions and division offices to establish sales goals to support the national sales plan.
• Manages training activities by identifying, implementing, revising and administering Advisory product training programs that support the needs of each division office. Conducts continuing evaluation and analysis of training activities to enhance effectiveness.
• Develops relationships with advisors, field managers and sponsor wholesalers to market and distribute Advisory products.
• Supports practice management programs designed to increase advisor recruiting, retention and production.
• Designs and promotes service models that help advisors provide existing and new customers holistic financial support that includes asset protection and financial growth strategies.
• Develops and supports MOIS activities for selling agreement coordination and available product offerings.
• Continuously expands industry knowledge by joining industry associations and taking courses in an effort to obtain industry knowledge.
• Develops and maintains current knowledge of Mutual of Omaha Investor Services’ products, policies and services.
• This position requires extensive or prolonged typing/keyboarding.
• This position requires up to 33% travel, which may include flying and/or driving and some overnight stays.
• This position requires sitting over 66% of the time.
• This position requires Visual Acuity at 20 inches (or less) over 66% of the time.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Registration as a FINRA General Securities Representative with the ability to become licensed in the required state(s)
• Registration as an Investment Advisor Representative
• Must possess strong knowledge of FINRA, SEC, and MSRB rules and regulations
• Experience with training program design and delivery of effective training in a variety of environments
• Excellent communication, facilitation and negotiation skills and the ability to persuade others
• Knowledge of the insurance business, systems and processes
• Strong strategic, analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to provide executive level analysis and recommendations on strategic project planning
• Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management and build strong relationships
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
• Ability to develop and operate within a budget
• Eligible to be bonded and remain bonded
• Ability to mentor, teach, or foster development in others
• Ability to influence others
• This position will require Fingerprinting and Bonding
Preferred Qualifications:
• Registration as a FINRA General Securities Principal
• 5+ years securities industry experience
