Responsibilities
• Interface effectively with business leadership to articulate the transactional risk and leveraging possible mitigating instruments
• Facilitate problem resolution and process optimization as it relates to risk platform interfaces and data quality
• Deliver a commercial onboarding solution linking KYC, Credit, Terms, etc…
• Effectively perform timely credit risk analysis on new and existing commercial customers as prompted by queuing structures or management direction leveraging multiple sources of data used in providing a recommended commercial credit limit
• Provide deep dive customer analytics typically consisting of; multi source financial ratings matrix, company background, financial statement analysis, global AR exposure, credit limit recommendation, SWOT analysis, industry performance and summary of key events
• Maintain high standards of data quality within the data sets for credit risk models and external reporting
• Support seamless new client onboarding to the Operations team and meeting ongoing service level agreement requirements
• Navigate effectively within multiple credit tools, receivable systems and internal processes to deliver accurate and timely credit risk recommendations
• Ensure execution of the Industrial Risk policy and adherence to established delegation of authorities by the businesses and Operations
• Other tasks assigned by Manager or applicable leadership
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years equivalent experience
• 5+ Years Financial Services experience across Risk Management and/or Finance
• Industrial product knowledge, commercial risk management or lending
• Understands commercial Risk Management techniques, concepts and business practices
• High degree of comfort working with technology, systems of record, data warehouses and utilization of advanced reporting tools
• Strong financial analysis knowledge and skills
• Ability to work well individually and part of a team to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple projects/tasks
• Ability to connect and engage with all levels in the business and appropriately flex communication style to suit these varying audiences
• Proven track record in building trust and commitment within business & with stakeholders
• Excellent PC skills (Excel & PowerPoint)
• Strong interpersonal, problem solving, and analytical skills
