OSG Domestic Settlement Manager/Director
Fidelity Operations & Services Group (OSG) provides superior customer service to Fidelity's Institutional businesses through innovation, dedication and commitment to excellence. OSG provides securities execution and clearance to retail, institutional, and correspondent clients.
The OSG Domestic Settlement Manager/Director is responsible and accountable for ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and policies, maintaining and auditing control functions, monitoring risk/exposure reports and maintaining high settlement efficiency related to the exceptions. The Manager/Director is responsible for creating an engaged work environment for a team of 8-10 associates while managing operational service levels, productivity, quality standards, associate performance, minimizing risk and driving process improvement initiatives.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
• College degree
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in DTCC settlement operations
• A minimum of 2 years of people leadership experience
• Proven track record in managing high exception volumes across multiple processes and sites
• Series 7 and 24 or must be obtained within 6 months of hiring
The Purpose of Your Role
The OSG Domestic Settlement Manager/Director will facilitate regular team meetings, coach and develop associates, and deliver performance appraisals. They will be responsible for managing risk, ensuring compliance of policies and providing process oversight. This individual will also manage operational performance, staffing levels and balance functional workloads. Additional duties include managing projects and participation in key organizational initiatives. Individual is expected to be key contributor to a collaborative workplace environment and have a strong commitment to teamwork and shared success. They are expected to own their personal development plan and acquire additional skills that ensure continued professional growth.
