The RPA Program Manager is responsible for the overall program management, coordination, execution, control and completion of projects related to Robotic Process Automation. Individually, or as part of a team, responsible for end-to-end execution oversight for all Robotics Process Automation projects, including project planning and statusing, risk management, and issue resolution. Duties may include: assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project, communicating project status and issues to team and management, acting to reduce risk and resolve issues. Coordinates with other projects and work groups.
Essential Functions
• Independently manages end-to-end execution of multiple RPA projects, varying in size and complexity
• Governance of – Prioritization, RPA roadmap, and Delivery across automation projects, as well as ongoing Support and Maintenance
• Ensure effective governance of the RPA project lifecycle by adhering to the appropriate governance standards, policies, and leading practices
• Works closely with business functions as part of larger transformation underway, and ensures alignment to timelines, costs, and track mutual dependencies
• Collaborate with multi-functional and virtual teams across – IT, business functions, transformation teams, vendors, and partners
• Support identification of new opportunities for process automation / digitization, and track them through execution
• Manages the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large scale projects or a program
• Developing project deliverables including project plans, schedules, and status reports
• Facilitating meetings including preparing agendas and coordinating schedules and materials, documenting meeting minutes, following-up on action items; gathering, organizing and distributing project related documentation
• Prepares program documents: program roadmaps, plan, scope, and schedules and established program governance
• Participate in the creation and execution of project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
• Implements engagement review and quality assurance procedures in accordance with our methodology to ensure profitable and successful execution of programs as measured by goals and customer satisfaction
• Minimizes our exposure and risk across multiple projects ;Conducts risk monitoring and controls during a project’s duration to ensure ability to achieve expected outcomes, on time and on budget
• Complies with and enforces standard policies and procedures
Qualifications:
• Experience working in matrix organization
• 7-10+ years’ experience in leading complex and transformation programs
• Experience leading and running a mix of IT/Business projects and programs
• Prior experience in leading similar programs in Process Automation.
• Exposure to Process Automation tools such as Automation Anywhere will be seen as a strength, and experience with other similar RPA tools (such as Blue Prism, Kofax, UiPath) will be considered also
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing RPA solutions using Automation Anywhere, is a big plus
• This person needs to have experience working as a business PM with some technical background
• Experience running projects that interact with business efficiency/automations tools such as VBA Macros, is a plus
• Understanding varies IT delivery methodologies (RUP, ITIL, Agile, Waterfall)
• Leadership skills to inspire coworkers to attain goals and pursue excellence.
• Detail oriented possessing high organization and planning skills.
• Strong analytical skills as well as ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Professional communication is a must: provides executive level communication of program and project status to team and business owners throughout the duration of the program to make certain all impacted stakeholders have an understanding of risks, issues and activities related to the program
• Excellent Communicator and can bridge effectively with leaders
Typical Education
• BS/BA Required
• MBA or MS/MA preferred
