The Director, Results Delivery Office is an integral member of the Transformation office and provides key leadership and operating vision to achieve the strategic goals of the company. The successful candidate will be a high energy individual with proven leadership capabilities and a familiarity with AXA’s landscape. Knowledge of both AXA’s business lines as well as support functions are highly critical to success. This position will balance strategic relationship management along with a granular approach to data acquisition & reporting of KPIs. Additionally, this position will deliver the following:
• Act as a partner & trusted advisor to business leaders. Assist them in identifying, prioritizing and implementing transformational objectives in their business operations using operational excellence/business process techniques and resources.
• Lead teams to improve or redesign business processes, implement systems that increase quality and/or efficiency, meet changing regulatory requirements and enable the corporate strategy.
• Works with stakeholders to generate solutions to business issues and then plans/implements those solutions based on documented risk assessment
• Leads the development of a tightly integrated results delivery plan to orchestrate outcomes across multiple workstreams and lines of business.
• Work with partners & stakeholders to identify key processes, assess risk, derive cost-benefit analyses, and test recommended solutions.
• Partner with IT to recommend technology solutions to drive the workplace of the future
• Ensures that proper management practices are adhered to by providing ongoing performance and career discussions, on-time completion of relevant people processes, and fostering Diversity and Inclusion.
• Focuses on the short & long-term implementation and continuous improvement of Transformation office outcomes.
• Domestic and international travel on an as needed basis depending upon the projects being supported.
• Develop & socialize critical KPIs for measurement & tracking, as well as ongoing operational metrics to assess transformational success
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 7-15 or more years of business experience and demonstrated depth of knowledge in discipline(s) applicable to the AXA US business model
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in managing large organizations with complex deliverables
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to establish and nurture highly effective relationships with employees at all levels of the organization, and provide influence without authority over peers/others
• Ability to facilitate meeting of peers, enable discussion that leads to resolution and communicate results to executive management.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with business partners and executive management, inspire others, promote transformational excellence, and promote accountability and results oriented thinking.
• Proven experience publishing KPIs and other executive metrics
• Proven strategic and analytical problem solving skills, including the ability to balance competing priorities
• Demonstrated organizational change management skills: leadership, communication, team building, facilitation, influencing without authority.
• Maintain highest ethical standards; demonstrate practicality, integrity and respect for others. Promotes diversity and a culture of inclusion.
• Business process consulting techniques (Six Sigma, Lean, etc) a strong plus.
• Knowledge of workplace technology as well as future technology trends is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree is required. Major in finance, mathematics, operational research, or business administration is preferable. MBA or related masters degree is a plus.
• Advanced software skills with; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio (or equivalent process mapping software) and Microsoft Project.
