Job Summary
Farmers Insurance Mobile team is looking a Product Manager (PM) to help us take our team to the next level. You will be the PM leading a small Agile team (5-6 developers) and will be responsible for the delivery of new features and products. You will wear multiple hats: Product manager, Scrum master, Analyst
Essential Job Functions
• As a scrum master, you will lead our Agile process and unblock the development team to ensure successful and timely releases.
• Serve as a key liaison between Business and IT teams (product, UI, Development, QA and Production Support) to facilitate product development.
• Complete functional analysis for new features and technical projects.
• Write user stories and acceptance criteria, data flow, other artifacts.
• Analyze customer data and feedback and build business cases for new features.
• Manage and communicate dependencies with other IT teams.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, and perform a variety of tasks to help delivering more value to our customers.
Education Requirements
Bachelors degree or equivalent or specific relevant experience
Experience Requirements
• 4 years’ experience in an IT environment
• 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Product manager or related disciple.
Special Skill Requirement
• Passionate about Agile methodologies. Experience with waterfall a plus.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and influential skills that foster a collaborative and continuous improvement environment.
• Experience or at least deep passion for Mobile technologies.
• Strong critical/ analytical thinking and problem solving. Experience with Mixpanel or similar analytic tool a big plus.
• Experience with Rally or similar project management tool.
