JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for working closely with the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) in planning and executing the HR strategy for Banc of California. In addition, responsible for supporting all HR planning activities, serving as the project manager for all department projects and initiative, leading the reporting and analytics for HR (in partnership with the Analytics Center of Excellence). Performs all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for analyzing complex data, identify trends and correlations, and turn information into useful business intelligence for the HR operations and HR initiatives.
2. Must be instrumental in driving HR reporting and analytics into actionable insights across HR and all lines of business.
3. Manage the planning and prioritization of the Analytics roadmap ensuring stakeholder needs is met.
4. Develop and implement reporting and analytics tools in order to build and roll-out HR dashboards and insights frameworks.
5. Deliver data that easy for end users to understand, and package the data into a refined presentation for leadership audiences.
6. Responsible for planning and executing initiatives and projects of all sizes; develop and manage all project aspects from inception to completion, including detailed project plans, resourcing, risks/issues/decisions within the HR forum.
7. Partner with the HR Team to evaluate issues and ensure strategy and alignment for project execution; support the CHRO on function-related projects and initiatives to further grow and enhance the HR Team.
8. Prepare project day to day deliverables such as meeting agendas, meeting outcomes, and next steps; hold resources accountable and follow up as needed to ensure tasks are being met; prepare project status updates; work closely with CHRO on all HR Projects.
9. Facilitate project meetings and ensure resource alignment across different functions with clear roles, responsibilities, and action items.
10. Identify risks/issues that impact the execution and success of the project and escalate as appropriate for resolution/mitigation

Qualifications
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Demonstrates knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations and laws as they pertain to this position including but not limited to the following: Regulation Z (Truth in Lending Act), Regulation B (Equal Credit Opportunity Act), Fair Housing Act (FHA), Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) in conjunction with the USA PATRIOT Act, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Customer Information Program (CIP), Right to Financial Privacy Act (RFPA, state and federal) and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR LICENSES:
• 5+ years of experience working in a consulting firm, internal consulting function, or a complex organization.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; or equivalent experience.
