Description
Assurant has an excellent opportunity for a QA Analyst! This position plays a critical role in ensuring business objectives are being met through the execution of a quality assurance program within the Enterprise Business Services arena. The QA Analyst will conduct, monitor, and evaluate testing results and apply recommended actions for improvements. To be effective in this role, must have strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent analytical ability and judgment, and work cooperatively, positively, and collaboratively in a virtual team.
Responsibilities Include:
• Participate in the initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and reporting testing activities related to EBS processes, applications and system implementation projects using formal QA methodology.
• Perform an independent and objective analysis of EBS processes and activities.
• Collaborate with others to understand and document testing requirements.
• Review and report on test results, make recommendations and assist EBS with remediation efforts.
• Maintain a broad knowledge of shared service processes, technology, and/or systems.
• Audit on/off-shore critical service levels and key metrics.
• Continuously contribute to the achievement of process improvement, best practices and standardization of EBS processes and QA activities.
• Participate in activities across EBS in support of the Process and Performance Management area.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting, finance, audit, or related work areas
• Strong time management skills
• Strong data analytics skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in shared service center and/or financial service industry and/or insurance industry
• 2+ years’ experience with compliance, audit, quality assurance, or control testing methodologies
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven customer-oriented approach to problem solving.
• Ability to contribute both individually and as part of a virtual team.
