As the Campus Diversity Manager for our University & Recruiting Partnerships team, you will manage diversity talent strategies associated with recruiting at target schools and other associated diversity partnerships. In this role, you will collaborate and consult with Business Leaders, Recruiting Managers and University & Recruiting Partnerships (URP) Specialists on all matters related to diversity branding, sourcing and recruiting of undergraduate college students. The URP team is devised of 20 team members that sit across Malvern, Charlotte and Scottsdale. They work seamlessly to attract top talent to Vanguard.

As the Campus Diversity Manager, a typical day may include:
• Devising specialized sourcing strategies for diverse talent pools. Promoting the sourcing of diverse talent through a variety of recruiting channels including universities, associations, social networks, direct referrals, community organizations, etc.
• Leading a group of College Ambassadors in efforts associated with on campus and virtual outreach by providing guidance, training, motivation and feedback as necessary. Additionally providing guidance and consultation to URP Specialists on all matters associated with diversity recruiting at core and special interest schools.
• Developing and managing an external network of key university and community representatives and actively participating as the key Vanguard diversity representative on campus in the community, and at national conferences. As the Lead, you will offer thought leadership on all matters related to diversity, college recruiting including speaking in public forums, contributing to editorial content, blogging for associations, etc.
• Collaborating with Employment Marketing to ensure messages accurately represent Vanguard’s employment value proposition and brand. Utilizing social media channels and other digital strategies to attract top talent and build a talent pipeline.
• Leveraging software solutions to effectively track candidates and report on candidate outcomes as well as leveraging internal and external networks and reporting tools to acquire trends and incorporate recruiting best practices ongoing.
• Analyzing recruiting effectiveness, top sources and source yield then presenting bi-annual executive updates on the URP diversity strategy. Identifying and communicating improvement opportunities that will inform business leaders and drive hire outcomes to serve enterprise needs.
• Partnering closely with URP Coordinator on all administrative matters associated with event planning. Offer direction and guidance on materials, messages, job postings, and calendaring needs. Monitor budget and expenditures to ensure fiscal responsibility.
• Participating in special divisional and department related projects as assigned.
Qualifications
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Minimum of five years of general business experience. Diversity recruiting and sourcing experience preferred.
• Experience in the development and implementation of business partnerships and business strategies.
• Leadership impact and influence.
• Experience leading teams in a matrix environment.
• Understanding of HR policies and processes.
• Knowledge of corporate recruiting and talent attraction.
• Client service orientation; proactive and solution focused.
• Proven teamwork capabilities; strong relationship management and interpersonal skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills. Attentive to details and deadlines; ability to manage multiple initiatives.
• Strong project management, planning and organizational skills. People leadership skills including mentoring, training and coaching.
Additional information:
• This role can be based in NC or PA and requires ample travel (approx. 50%).
