Description
We are currently seeking an experienced product strategy/market adoption professional to lead the overall product strategy, innovation and growth of aggregated solutions in partnership with Finicity. The candidate will be responsible for defining and executing product strategy, understanding market needs (with an emphasis on the mortgage market), creating customer-centric experiences, requirements and competitive analysis, influencing the partner’s new product development in an Agile framework, developing training and marketing programs.
Responsibilities include:
• Daily relationship management and development with key executives from our partner, Finicity to coordinate activities, influence product roadmap, identify new opportunities, manage go-to-market and marketing activities.
• Develop and utilize insight into market needs across multiple segments in Experian’s target market (primarily Mortgage) to drive product adoption.
• Apply market intelligence and P&L analysis against product investments to establish priority and highest revenue opportunities; work with client, product and technology teams (Partner’s teams, and Experian teams) to develop and progress new product ideas.
• Develop, plan and direct product strategies, including go to market activities, using a product management methodology. This role must develop a strong relationship with our Partner Finicity and have the ability to influence through empirical evidence, client demand and Product decisions will be based on this candidate’s assessment of market needs and trends, client and consumer feedback, revenue potential, competitive analysis and internal resource capacity.
• Work cross-functionally with various Experian business units and product management teams to ensure products are positioned in alignment with other Experian capabilities and platforms.
• Cultivate external relationships with clients, third parties and consumers to drive product adoption.
• Partner closely with Technical Product Owner in an Agile environment to manage priorities, drive or influence Partner product roadmaps, including functional and non-functional requirements.
• Actively provide strong product and market expertise to Marketing, Sales and Client Services teams to help drive revenue growth in the North American market
• 8 -10+ years of experience in product management, relationship management and strategy required
• Advanced knowledge of Financial Services industry (Mortgage preferred) as well as strategy development - from analysis to recommendation
• 5+ years of experience managing a dynamic team
• Excellent client-facing presentation skills required
• High sense of urgency and ability to work well in and navigate a matrix environment crucial to success
• Must have strong influencing skills and can interface with partners, business, analytics, legal, compliance, systems and marketing personnel
• Working knowledge of Agile
• Proven track record of driving market adoption that translates into revenue growth
• Must demonstrate competency in developing strategies / tactics for product growth through product enhancements, implementation of sales strategies and channel development
