Position Responsibilities:
• Performs cash flow and tax return analysis.
• Monitors ongoing compliance with financial covenants and initiates appropriate remedies for non-compliance.
• Assists with loan portfolio reporting and preparation of credit presentations according to bank's policy and guidelines.
• Conducts industry research.
• Conducts credit investigations and analyses.
• Analyzes financial statements and related material to determine financial conditions and trends.
• Prepares summaries, presents facts, and offers opinions concerning credit-worthiness.
• Provides credit information and references for customers, loan officers, or other agencies as requested.
• Ensures that all credit files include proper documentation including current financial statements, agency reports, etc.
• Maintains control over current accounts, noting payment progress, watching for any developing problems, and keeping loan officers informed.
• Writes credit memorandums.
• May accompany lenders on business calls, conduct industry research and assist with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
• Typically requires a Bachelors degree and 4 years of real estate credit analysis experience.
• Broad application of complex real estate credit and lending principles, theories, and concepts.
• Extensive knowledge of complex financial and spread analysis, credit, lending and underwriting procedures.
• Advanced Word and Excel skills.
