Overview
As a key member of the Enterprise Data and Client Insights (EDCI) team, this position will play an important role the bank’s data governance program and related policies, processes and reporting. Working with other members of the EDCI team, technology and lines of business, this individual will support the execution of the data governance program.
• Execution of the Bank’s data governance and data quality programs (policy, standards and controls)
• Promoting the adoption of on-going Data Governance and Data Quality routines with key business partners
• Sufficiently controlled, tested and documented data provisioning practices, mapping, lineage and reconciliation to support rigorous examination

Responsibilities
• Engage with business and technology partners to document business and functional requirements
• Drive the development of consistent enterprise taxonomy (customer, household, product, transaction, etc.) with cross- functional stakeholders, and work with technology and EDCI team to migrate to new definitions
• Measurement, tracking, escalation and impact analysis of data quality issues, including supporting business unit and technology efforts to remediate issues and address root causes
• Engage with stakeholders to analyze and isolate root cause of data issues and drive data cleansing efforts
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation of KDEs, taxonomy, business glossary provisioning, lineage and related controls/ procedures
• Maintain key data governance documentation (e.g., policy, standards)
• Preparation of materials for key data governance meetings (e.g., Data Champions, Oversight Committee)
• Support End User Computing (EUC) Management program enterprise-wide, including training of ClusterSeven, user support, and promoting adherence to the standards
• Responsible for understanding data from the enterprise perspective and managing it in such a way that it can be understood and leveraged across the organization
• Support of reference data and master data management governance processes (e.g., Product Master, NAICS)
• Develop high value-added reporting and presentations for management
• Responsibilities include: 1) adhering to and complying with the applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to Anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.) 2) adhering to Bank policies and procedures, 3) completing required training, 4) identifying and reporting suspicious activity to the AML Officer, and 5) knowing and verifying the identity of any customer(s) that enters into a relationship with the
Qualifications
Experience:
• Proficient at processing complex business questions, researching data issues and managing through remediation
• Experience with BI reporting, including data visualization tools
• Strong documentation skills with experience building training materials (e.g., user guides, QRGs)
• Broad exposure to data governance/ data management concepts and technologies
• Analytical skills to collect and profile data and compute key metrics (e.g., KRIs, KPIs)
• Extensive experience presenting content to various audiences including senior management
• Client service, help desk / user support or consultative role working closely with business stakeholders
• Experience 3-5 years of financial services industry experience (line of business, technology, finance, audit, service provider or professional services)
• Must be comfortable analyzing data and complex data relationships
• Experience with data management technologies and tools (e.g., MDM, Informatica, Collibra) (desired)
• SQL skills (desired)
• Requires proficiency with varied computer and network operating systems
