Role Responsibilities:
• Develop, Execute and Refine social media strategy through research, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
• Proactive communication to relevant stakeholders while developing DailyFX’s global Social Media Strategy.
• Communicate learnings with stakeholders in DailyFX as well as the Marketing and SEO teams we work with to help continually improve our understanding of our users.
• Set and report on success metrics based around increasing our social media presence.
• Write, develop, and strategize online content production and scheduling.
• Create and maintain company social media pages and profiles
• Generate, edit, publish, and share content daily (original text, images, and video).
• Build meaningful connections and encourage community members through dialogue and messaging.
• Create, implement and align a social media marketing plan with DailyFX’s content calendar and editorial strategy.
• Review user-generated comments and posts online in a quick and timely manner and when appropriate respond to comments, or escalate to leadership in order to foster a positive community and add value to the user’s experience.
• Manage the implementation of any new functionality or enhancements to social networks and assures consistent brand presence and integrity.
• Follow the latest social marketing developments, monitors competitive landscape and consumer behaviors in order to understand current and future trends, and make recommendations on how to improve or expand DailyFX’s presence on existing or new social media platforms.
• Track and analyze analytics reports to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; utilize this information to positively affect future outcomes
Person Specification:
Ability / Expertise
Essential:
• Strong familiarity with the business applications of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.).
• Working knowledge with social listening tools (i.e. Crimson Hexagon, Netbase, Radian6, etc.), website analytics platforms (i.e. Google Analytics, Omniture), social channel data (i.e. Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics), and dashboard tools (Tableau, etc.).
• Understanding of social media metrics; able to interpret the results and take action to increase effectiveness of social media campaigns.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey ideas in a clear and precise manner.
Desirable:
• Experience with Salesforce Social Studio and Sales Force is a plus.
• Experience with video creation software (i.e. Lumen5, Biteable, Animoto, Magisto) is a plus.
• Any type of trading experience is a huge plus.
Qualifications
Essential:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or related field.
• 2-3 years of social media marketing experience. Planning, testing, launching, monitoring, optimizing and measuring social media campaigns experience preferred.
• Required computer skills: proficiency in CRM, web content management platforms, Microsoft Office; Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
