Description
Responsibilities
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for execution of projects
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Assist in the definition of scope/objectives, involving stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocations are set
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
• Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Manage the relationship with the project team, client and all stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Track project performance to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
• Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
• Develop comprehensive executive status presentations on consistent basis
• Perform other related duties as assigned
Activities
• Utilize project methodology for managing projects (Initiating, Planning, Design Implementation, and Closure)
• Analyze project details and project hours’ reports
• Review proposed project changes with team members, stakeholders, and management
• Initiate improvements in the tool, process, steering mechanisms, and people
• Review integration issues between the various processes; propose improvement as outline in governance
• Communicate project/program activities; including changes to the Process and Governance Structure
• Promote the project management vision to partnering organizations and project teams
• Function as a point of escalation when required for operations related projects
• Execute and drive project training, when required as outlined by the governance team
• Recruit and coach staff to support the Process where needed
• Attend governance/planning meetings to assess the impact of organizational decisions on the process environment
• Schedule and attend meetings according to the Process and Governance Structure
• Work closely with upper management to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule, as well as other departments for support
Requirements
• Proven working experience in project management
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
