This Shelton-based Receptionist will be responsible for supporting partners, managers and accounting professionals in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a high level of interpersonal skills, a calm demeanor, and the ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Receptionist duties, including answering the phone, transferring calls appropriately, and in-person greeting of clients and vendors,
• Mastering software products such as MS Office and others used in connection with time reporting and disbursements,
• Distributing catering menus during busy seasons, and providing headcounts to vendors,
• Sorting incoming mail as appropriate: arranging for courier services, tracking pickups and drop-offs of client-related information,
• Compiling and assembling various tax and marketing materials,
• Handling highly sensitive and confidential materials.
Experience and Skills:
• 3 years of experience in a professional environment.
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications, specifically those related to MS Office Suite.
• High level of interpersonal skills required; must be able to communicate with clients, vendors and colleagues at all levels of the organization.
• Analytical ability a must, identifying solutions to various administrative problems.
• Continual attention to detail, and the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.
