Employee Communications & Culture Specialist
The purpose of this position is to enhance communications and culture for employees of Experian Health to drive greater employee engagement, advocacy and alignment with our business strategy--in turn helping to create better customer experiences and drive the business forward.
The ideal candidate for this position will have extreme attention to detail, be a strong writer, and a customer and culture advocate. They’ll be an expert on multi-channel tactics (i.e., social media, videos), a follower of communications best practices, a proven problem solver and a collaborative practitioner who can partner with colleagues to develop strategic plans.
Responsibilities:
• Mines, writes and edits compelling content and stories for multiple employee channels
• Works with internal partners to design and execute strategic programs to increase overall employee alignment and engagement
• Creates, plans, and maintains communication policies and procedures
• Directs and produces high-quality written, video, and other visual content
• Manages content and execution of key company meetings, including monthly All Hands webinars and calls
• Builds strong relationships with leadership across the business to communicate strategic goals and initiatives and ensure a "One Experian" approach
• Creates and drives a strategic vision for culture activities throughout the business, supporting the company’s business strategy while addressing the needs of multiple office locations, international employee groups, as well as a large percentage of remote employees working from home
• Participates in cross-functional teams to ensure continuity of department and culture plans across the organization. Partners with HR to drive specific goals for growth in overall employee satisfaction and retention
• Drives projects from conception to completion, bringing strong strategic vision, organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
Other duties as required.
Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or Marketing preferred
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout, and design skills
• Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills
• Self-motivated, comfortable taking initiative in ambiguous situations
• Positive and professional approach to relationship management
• A passion for people and company culture
• Confident and skilled communicator and presenter
• Ability to work with all levels of management
• Training and education background a plus
• Proficiency in the following required:
◦ Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
• Proficiency in the following preferred:
◦ Video production – from camera operation for video capture to video editing for final use/channel
