General Summary
• The Learning & Development Business Partner for eCommerce consults with eCommerce leaders and team members to develop learning solutions to support eCommerce objectives, ensure training and development needs are met for all employees, and facilitates learning events within the business line and across functions.
Essential Functions
• Facilitates highly interactive classes and workshops within the business line and across functions, on-site or via web/video conference.
• Identifies and assesses training/learning solutions needs of assigned business lines and designs skills training and other solutions (e.g., coaching, knowledge management, process improvement) to support department goals, programs, and initiatives. Anticipates business needs and develops solutions in the form of proposals to business line senior leadership.
• Builds relationships across all business lines globally; participates in or leads global cross-functional projects.
• Leads or participates in the identification, design, development and implementation of multiple eCommerce projects. Collaborates across departments to manage scope, risk, timelines, tasks, resource needs, communication and evaluation of success to achieve agreed-upon goals and meet or beat timelines.
• Develops curricula, materials, and programs (including classroom training, online training, other technologies, self-study, certification tests, job aids, knowledge base materials, and learning assessments) to meet learning and development needs of assigned business lines.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of existing training programs / learning solutions and makes improvements or designs replacements.
• Provides a source of expertise for internal and external development and educational programs, including vendor management as needed.
Qualifications
Preferred Skills/Experience
• Experience in the Payments Industry, website hosted payments, and payment gateways
• Website industry experience including designing, building, and maintaining websites
• Experience with Content Management Systems, website shopping carts, domain registrar and web hosting companies
• Experience creating compatibility matrixes showing product features and benefits, tracking products vs. market needs, and creating value propositions
• Excellent consultative, project management, analytical, planning and organizational skills
• Strong presentation/public speaking skills
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Salesforce.com
