• Owns the responsibility of coordinating the consolidation and expense management process for the organization.
• Partner with key business partners to ensure proper level of reporting is provided for all levels of the organization.
• Development and execution of expense metrics that will entail broader expense management capabilities of the organization leveraging benchmarks and internal data when appropriate.
• Provide the organization with thoughtful insights related to expense trends to help management make well informed decisions.
• Develops and maintains financial reporting and tracking tools to assist in financial review and analysis of results.
• Identification of existing tools within Voya that will help ensure better automation and streamline the cycle time and reduce from the current cycle time.
• Delivers succinct and clear summarizations of analysis tailored to the needs of different customers.
• Able to manage multiple, often competing priorities in a fast pace and often changing environment.
• Ability to condense large amount of data into succinct driver messaging for executive audience.
• Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Experience:
• Minimum of 10 years accounting, analysis and reporting required with an emphasis on analysis and reporting.
• Minimum of 5 years of Coaching and supervisory experience required
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Insurance background preferred.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
• Proven ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment, and to lead and drive complex operational initiatives
• Strong analytical skills, combined with impeccable business judgment and ability to communicate with seasoned management
• Expert user of all Microsoft applications including Excel and PowerPoint
• Oracle and Anaplan experience preferred
