Job Summary:
The data integration Lead will lead the design, develop, and scale our big data platform that is vital to the core of our business. The candidate will lead the data integration team responsible for architecting and developing scaled-out, near real-time, highly performing big data integration infrastructure allowing the bank to leverage data effectively for internal / external data ingestion, stream processing, advance analysis and applications. The ideal candidate has a passion for big data integration technology as it revolutionizes the way data processed, stored, secured and shared.
Major Responsibilities:
• The data integration lead will work closely with technology and business data leads to design and develop next-gen data pipelining and ETL based on open source/vendor tools in big data ecosystems that can deal with varied data types from disparate sources.
• Identify and track useful metrics to show constant service improvement.
• Ensure quality checks are in place and routinely adjust processes to uphold quality.
• Scale the data integration practice, processes, and work load by identifying opportunities to automate processes to become proactive in our support role.
Qualifications
Additional Information:
• At least 2 years of bank project management experience.
• Independently and successfully managed at least 2 complex projects, from start to end (i.e. covering all Life Cycle Phases)
• 4 year Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work experience
• Completion of PMP or other PM certification (preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to transform complex concepts into simple and easy to understand presentations and influence decisions to achieve desired results across varied complex stakeholder groups.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks to meet extremely tight deadlines
• Strong Microsoft PowerPoint presentation skills and ability to target messaging to different audiences
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Advanced Excel
