Key responsibilities will include:
• Prospect to close new business through a variety of methods, including outbound calling, WebEx demonstrations, client meetings, and attending conferences
• Drive new business sales through direct client engagement – including identifying new prospects, initial engagement and sales negotiations
• Execute sales strategy and sales campaigns designed by Market Development team to grow the sales pipeline and increase the pipeline conversion rate for the Macro Intelligence Solutions (specific targets will be confirmed).
• Work closely with Book Owners to build a consistent cross sell approach for Macro Intelligence Solutions with current and prospective customers. Relevant client types include Strategists, Economists, and Asset Managers
• Work closely with the Product and Market Development teams to ensure our value proposition and sales approach is well crafted, well suited for the target audience, and well communicated across the Sales organization
• Collaborate with Market and Solutions Development teams to drive sales enablement, better understand our clients, and focus on sales campaigns to increase revenue
• Obtain new logo clients, while also focusing on the collaboration with book owners and account managers to cross sell and upsell with existing clients
• Consistently reach/ exceed sales and activity goals on a monthly basis
• Organize, manage, and report sales pipeline progression and performance in SalesForce.com
Key skills will include:
• Act as a Macro Intelligence subject matter expert for the sales team during pre-sales qualification, trials, demo’s, and provide support throughout client on-boarding
• Deep understanding of factors influencing international business and world affairs, across a range of sectors and industries, including Banking & Finance, Commodities, Country Risk & Energy
• Particular understanding of macroeconomic, industry and financial market analysis
