KPMG is currently seeking a Director in Infrastructure for our Deal Advisory practice.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage Transportation Agency advisory engagements involving programs, projects, and business practices
• Support clients in negotiating transactions by drafting and reviewing bid documentation, issue papers, and reports for external use
• Serve as the lead contact in building relationships and marketing firm services to selected target clients, while leading and supporting the preparation of strategic advisory proposals to target clients
• Participate in Infrastructure and Transportation conferences and other marketing initiatives
• Assist practice leadership in recruiting, training, and mentoring advisory team resources
Qualifications:
• A minimum of eight years work experience with Project Finance, Government Agencies, Transportation Asset Management, or Infrastructure Development, including experience in an advisory consulting environment
• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university
• Demonstrated ability to identify and close business opportunities, lead project engagements, attract new business, and build lasting professional relationships with senior client executives
• Experience with management of broad transportation asset portfolios, including the understanding of governmental transportation funding, financing, and budgeting at a Federal, State, and municipal level
• Travel may be up to 80-100% across the United States
