Job TitleSector General Manager - Healthcare
What does a great Sector General Manager – Healthcare do?
Reporting to the Senior Vice President Product Management & Strategy, as the Sector General Manager - Healthcare you will be responsible for managing the Go To Market strategy and revenue for the Healthcare vertical market. You will work closely with our Product Management and Operations teams to improve our competitive position in target markets. You will effectively engage market participants in the identification of new market opportunities and capitalize on these opportunities by driving coordinated work across our organization in the delivery of solutions for these markets. As the strategic lead for the healthcare market vertical, you will bring voice of customer back into our organization and the successful collaboration with our Product Delivery teams to meet customer demand. Your position will have revenue responsibility and requires close partnership with our sales and account management teams to align on sales objectives as well as operations and finance for revenue.
As a Sector General Manager – Healthcare, you can look forward to:
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
• Report to the SVP of Product Management and Strategy
• Work closely with the Product Marketing team, Product delivery teams, and other departments within Biller Solutions including the Project Management Office (PMO), Account Management, Product Development, Sales organization etc.
• Work directly with customers and partners
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• You will run the Healthcare Sector
• Product Portfolio vision: You develop business plans & product vision for the Healthcare market. You bring in market revenue growth by broadening distribution of existing products and solutions, as well as through the creation of new market solutions
• Go-to-market planning; You lead the planning and execution of go to market activities for target markets and deliver through collaboration with partners such as Product Management and Marketing
• Market revenue: You partner closely with the implementation teams to ensure contracted solutions are implemented with quality in a timely fashion for time to revenue acceleration. You will also collaborate with Finance to establish a monthly operating review model inclusive of volume and revenue measurement and reporting.
• You will drive customer engagement
• Customer Advocate: You will develop a deep understating of customers’ technical applications & commercial ecosystems; work with customers to identify business challenges/requirements, propose functional solutions and develop Product Strategy.
• Road mapping: You plan and prioritize product evolution based on customers’ and market input; timely and expertly communicate with relevant enterprise teams commercial and technical drivers.
• Technical Liaison: Your technical feedback to Product Management and Engineering teams regarding customer application needs for new product developments is crucial.
• Portfolio Performance - You will be responsible for the success of the Healthcare vertical.
• Financial Accountability: You are responsible for the financial performance of the Healthcare sector, market sizing, product positioning, and go-to-market strategy; demonstrated experience engaging at senior executive level in monthly and/or quarterly business reviews; demonstrated P&L management experience.
• Research: You evaluate emerging technology trends and strategic business opportunities.
• Drive Enterprise adoption: You will be defining and executing a strategy that will enable scaled adoption of product initiatives across the key customers and sales representatives.
• Best practices: Socialize and champion industry standard methodologies.

Basic qualifications for consideration:
• 10+ years working experience in Product Management or General Management in high-tech industry
• Experience in the Healthcare IT market required. Experience can be on the Provider or Payer side with a strong understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle.
• Executive level presence: Ability to effectively interact with both internal and external senior executives
• P&L management experience
• Excellent writing and messaging skills. Confirmed ability to articulate a clear, extraordinary value proposition.
• The ability to work with multiple departments to align the teams around a vision and to ensure the work stays on track.
• An analytical bias to interpret results and a technical mindset to work in a highly technical industry
• Craft and execute programs and materials that foster thought leadership in the industry
• Ability to quickly learn and understand Biller Solutions products
• Highly driven self-starter, motivated, with excellent organization skills
• Able to effectively operate as a matrix manager in coordinating people and resources from multiple areas of the company
• BS/BA required or equivalent experience
• Travel Required: up to 40%

MBA a plus
