Description
In partnership with Senior Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP), the Vice President of Organization Effectiveness (OE) will be the main point of contact, consulting, advising and providing OE subject matter expertise to Prudential International Insurance. The position will be responsible for providing frameworks, counsel and consulting services to HRBPs and senior leaders on integrative strategies to improve the organizational effectiveness of their businesses. This includes, but is not limited to, clarifying strategic direction, identifying and building critical organizational capabilities, identifying world-class talent needs, organization design and transformation. The position will work to enable HRBP’s and other client stakeholders to implement solutions and manage through significant change. The position will also partner closely with the OE COE Change Lead and other HR COE’s (e.g., Talent, Diversity & Inclusion) to design broad talent solutions for the businesses. This position will report directly to the OE COE lead.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with respective HRBP’s to help the client group in identifying critical capabilities and initiatives (prioritization of initiatives will come from respective HRBPs and/or the HR SLT);
• Partner with HRBPs and Talent Lead to identify where world-class talent is and is needed;
• In partnership with HRBPs, advise senior-level executives on the design and implementation of organizational solutions against priority needs, and coach and counsel business unit executives on issues pertinent to leadership, organizational effectiveness and change management;
• Support respective senior leadership teams on their strategic and team effectiveness work;
• Partner with HRBP’s to enable them to drive execution of priority initiatives;
• Collaborate with other OE COE resources to build solutions;
• Support enterprise initiatives when needed;
• Collaborate with the other OE Leads when necessary;
• Serve as conduit between the business and the OE COE;
• Partner with external resources when needed.
Qualifications
• Bachelor degree required; Advanced degree in any of the following disciplines preferred: MBA, organizational behavior or organization development.
• Minimum ten years Organizational Development/Effectiveness experience.
• Strong competence in learning agility and curiosity, confidence and influence.
• Proven mastery and expertise in applying organization capability design, change, and leadership frameworks and assessments; (certification or specific education in organizational design preferred).
