Overview
As Financial Analyst (Commissions) you’ll do more than just processing commissions, you’ll be analyzing and auditing large data sets, using your Excel and Access skills to automate and improve processes, and learning the inner workings of multiple departments. You will become a subject matter expert and valuable resource for various groups including Sales and Sales Management, Sales Operations, AR, and Finance. We’re looking for an innovator with strong math skills, creative problem solving abilities, strong data auditing skills, and someone who enjoys putting their Advanced Excel and Access skills to work.
Your success will be measured by your ability to do the following:
1. Develop and maintain processing rules to execute contracts– How well do you translate written agreements with employees into usable, mathematical equations?
2. Build accurate and scalable systems – How efficiently do you improve and develop processes to allow for both a personal and reliable level of service?
3. Critical thinking –Do you look beyond the numbers to ensure high-level goals of the contracts are being achieved?
Responsibilities:
Process monthly and quarterly commissions and bonuses from end-to-end (you will work on the entire process from data sourcing, calculations and statements, all the way through to payroll)
Audit transaction level data for accuracy
Prepare various monthly and ad hoc reports
Collaborate with the Commissions team to automate and improve processes
Serve as a resource for Sales Management and the Sales Team
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (Advanced degree preferred)
Advanced Excel
MS Access (Advanced preferred)
SQL a plus
Strong written/verbal communication skills
Good analytical capabilities
Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
