What You'll Do/Need
The Marketing Automation Manager is responsible for the development, improvement and execution of all marketing campaigns through Xenith’s marketing automation platform.
Responsibilities
• Execute acquisition campaign programs by developing emails, landing pages and web forms
• Develop multichannel, personalized nurture programs that incorporate lead scoring, behavioral data and engagement activity to engage customers and drive revenue
• Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams on campaign design and execution
• Lead status meetings and provide weekly insights to all stakeholders through an in-depth analysis of campaign results and recommendations for continued optimization
• Create, implement and maintain dashboards of key metrics
• Develop and manage outbound communication campaigns, including content, messaging and list management
• Establish and manage timelines, ensuring projects launch on time and on budget
• Build appropriate segmentation lists of customers and prospects based on digital marketing behavior, such as past email engagement and website interaction (content downloads, website visits, etc.)
• Measure effectiveness of marketing campaign programs and further optimize to convert leads into customers
• Work to protect Xenith’s email reputation and minimize list decay and unsubscribes, while increasing the productivity of our email sends
• Ensure accurate and complete information is captured in our customer relationship management (CRM) system, Salesforce
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing or related business field
• 2 – 3 years of experience with a marketing automation platform like Pardot
• Excellent writing, proofing and communications skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and prioritize and manage tasks effectively
• Demonstrate willingness to learn and utilize creative, problem-solving techniques
• Working knowledge of HTML
• Strong data evaluation skills, with the ability to extract and interpret data from various sources to offer creative marketing solutions and business decisions
• Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to accurately specify project time frames, dependencies and risk factors
• Advanced business logic skills (e.g. if/then conditions and rules) to define lead nurture flows
• Ability to forge strong relationships with sales and marketing operations functions
• Comfortable working in a cross-functional and matrixed environment
• Ability to converse at both tactical and strategic levels
• Analytical mindset to identify, isolate and correct underperforming program elements
