About the Sleeth Retail Investment Team:
We're a distinctive team of highly skilled real estate professionals who combine our in-depth knowledge of the local retail investment market with the international reach and capital market expertise of Newmark Knight Frank.
Co-Directed by Paul and Billy Sleeth, our group focuses entirely on retail investments in the greater Pacific Northwest. This product type and geographical focus enables us to provide our clients with superior market insight, which has resulted in over $6 billion of retail investment sales in the past thirty years.
We specialize in a variety of property types including:
• High Profile Regional Malls
• Grocery/Drug Anchored Shopping Centers
• Small Suburban/Urban Strip Centers
• Single Tenant Properties
Responsibilities:
• Manage day to day office and transaction operations
• Manage and track deal pipeline
• Maintain NKF Retail Capital Markets Investment Deal Tracking sheet
• Create deal tracking/timeline spreadsheets
• Foresee potential issues and work to solve/mitigate them
• Communicate with buyers and sellers throughout the transaction process to satisfy all requests for a successful closing.
• Review closing checklist – finalize pro formas, clean up folders, sold card, update data base, etc.
• Create/Compile all content for oms, brochures, and postcards: highlights, terms of the offering, site descriptions, etc.
• Coordinate email marketing blasts
• Manage all listings posted on CoStar, CBA, Loopnet, Property Send, Property Blast, NNN Exchange, etc.
• Filter incoming CAs and responses to email blasts, send out Offering Memorandums
• Manage “closing” process
• Prepare press release
• Send closing gifts/thank you cards
• prepare press releases and occasional team advertisements/marketing promotions.
• Create pro formas
• Coordinate with our Financial Analyst on Argus models
• Run financing/valuation scenarios for BOVs
• Interact and collaborate with brokers to streamline deal flow and investment sales transaction process.
Skills, Education and Experience:
• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources or other related field is required. Graduate degree in Real Estate is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word PowerPoint and Outlook is required
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in regional operations, office management, project management, executive administration or other related field is required; familiarity with ARGUS, Salesforce, or APTO is a plus.
• Previous experience in a real estate environment is highly preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Well organized with a supreme attention to detail
• Positive, “can-do,” work hard attitude
• Ability to multi-task without losing focus
• Comfortable interfacing with clientele
