Job TitleSenior Business Analyst
What does a great Senior Business Analyst do?
The Senior Business Analyst role is critical in resolving a client’s problem. You are highly engaged in the product life cycle from defining the problem that will be solved, crafting the functionality would solve the problem and supporting the design with the internal and external clients through development and delivery.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will enjoy end-to-end project engagement; and will have satisfaction of collaborating with the team and completing projects that are positively received by the clients. Feedback from the clients, peers, and team members will provide overall view of the project success.
• Collaborate with product managers as well as with other partners in solving client business problems
• Actively collaborate with team to build profiles and practical functional specifications that resolve the problems identified
• Assess/ deliver functionality that adds new value as revenue generated, market opportunities; that are easily maintained, implemented and supported
• Analyze current or new product functionality and collaborate with Software Engineers to understand software impacts and limitations
• Conduct internal and external design reviews to validate profiles and functional specifications
• Ensure that new or changed functionality adheres to regulatory or system compliance
• Adheres to product design standards
Required qualifications for consideration:
• Minimum 5+ years of Product Line experience or credit union/banking experience
• Strong knowledge of credit union/banking operations including regulations
• Knowledge of industry design standards for current and emerging application technologies.
Preferred qualifications for consideration:
• Education: Associate or Bachelor year Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or other related Fields is highly preferred.
• Ability to resolve and analyze user needs and apply to functional design.
• Ability to get along with subject matter experts internally/externally to provide solution to identified problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to present designs to internal/external partners.
Travel Required:
• Some Travel may be required for team/department meetings; client events
