Responsibilities
The principal focus is to support the CIT sales force and vendors in achieving volume and sales goals through leased transactions. The Sr. Financial Solutions Specialist (FSS) will own the daily relationship with the vendors. They own all new transactions from initiation through booking, which includes obtaining comprehensive credit information on applications, interfacing with all CIT departments through final adjudication, and communicating regularly with the originating vendor and end user. All potential lease transactions are evaluated by the Sr. FSS to ensure all documentary and non documentary CIT criteria is met prior to lease commencement. In addition, should any current customer’s service related issue be escalated through the vendor, the Sr. FSS works directly with the various CIT departments to troubleshoot and resolve the issue. The Sr. FSS will be required to understand our end user interface, legal documentation, pricing, asset management, customer needs, and end of lease processes.
Qualifications
Sales Goals: Tasked with meeting or exceeding monthly budgeted volume goals while remaining within CIT risk management guidelines. Increase volume through better close ratios driven by daily sales support activities.
• Vendor and CIT Sales Relationship Management: Main daily point of contact with vendors and CIT sales reps. Takes ownership of the transactional side of vendor and end user relationships. Communicates well with all levels of vendor and internal CIT personnel. Work with all CIT functional areas as advocate for vendor.
• Transactional Management: Efficiently and effectively manages the credit application process, acting as conduit between the CIT Sales reps, Vendor and internal CIT departments for all transactional information. Communicates across and understands the functionality of departments such as Vendor Operations, Credit, Pricing, End of Lease, Asset Management, Premier Client team, and Legal. Uses investigative and strong interpersonal skills to maximize application activity. Will be tasked with creating accurate and complete documentation packages.
• Booking and Profitability: Ensure transactions meet minimum CIT yield requirements and are booked efficiently, ensuring our vendors are paid timely and the transactions meet our quality achievement standards
• Troubleshooting: Own any CIT Sales and Vendor escalated service issues through resolution and return communication, working closely with servicing colleagues, with an eye towards process improvement.
• Training: Educate vendor partners and customers on CIT processes, providing updates as changes occur.
• Process Improvement: Always looks for ways to improve current processes. Is proactive in communicating ideas and suggestions with team members and management.
5 years of leasing experience and college degree preferred
