Job SummaryThe Commercial Services Specialist as part of the Commercial Services team has the primary function to support all implementation activities and provide ongoing relationship support for commercial customers. This position will provide technical, operational, product and banking support to an assigned portfolio of Commercial and Treasury Management customers. This role is also a key support partner of the Commercial and Treasury Management Sales Officers as well as second level support for front line employees.
Job Responsibilities:
• Performs customer product installations and system configurations through coordination of implementation schedules. Conducts customer training on treasury management products, services and tools.
• Provides professional, technical and general product support to commercial customers and bank personnel. Assumes responsibility for follow-up and resolution of treasury problems.
• Ensures ongoing compliance and monitors risk related to products and services. Responsible for fraud monitoring. Performs testing for system updates. Completes continued education and training to keep updated on banking and payments industry.
• Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Completes all required compliance training. Maintains knowledge of and adhere to Flagstar’s internal compliance policies and procedures. Takes responsibility to keep up to date with changing regulations and policies.
Job Requirements:
• High School Diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree in Business preferred.
• 2+ years Banking Ops/Treasury Management Support.
• Knowledge of treasury management products and treasure management services experience (RDC, on-line banking and bill pay products).
• Proven service orientation and excellent customer service skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to solve practical problems.
• Ability to understand business implications of decisions.
• Ability to write business correspondence, reports and procedures.
• System knowledge; ACI, Wausau, and FiServ products preferred.
• The job requires a moderate degree of physical exertion and stamina such as standing, sitting, walking, driving or infrequent lifting.
