Summary

Summary:
Responsible for supporting financial representatives (FRs) on their marketing plans, executing regional level marketing plans, and collaborating with the corporate office marketing team.
Responsibilities
FR Marketing Activities:
• Serves as the primary point of contact for all marketing activities in the Regional Financial Office (RFO), with the exception of Thrivent Member Network (TMN) and fraternal marketing.
• Works with new financial representatives (NFRs) during the launch process to inform them of marketing resources and to build a strategic and tactical marketing plan to contact their natural market/prospects.
• Consults with NFRs, in years 2-4, to design specific marketing plans related to their specific business goals in alignment with regional goals. Focus is primarily on outreach, prospecting, and new members.
• Serves as a conduit for all Advisor Marketing info to the RFO and informs all FRs about changes and updates to marketing programs and resources offered from the corporate office.
• May serves as resource during candidate selection process to help FR candidates build a strong marketing plan to grow their business, including both natural market and partnering with Community Engagement Leader (CEL) regarding church and community engagement plans.
RFO Marketing Activities:
• Serves as a connecting point between corporate marketing, TMN regional specialist, and RFO market development strategies.
• Responsible for keeping abreast on relevant Marketing programs and systems related to marketing and brand awareness
• Collaborate with corporate marketing team to understand best practices, details of marketing programs, resources, etc. (e.g. social media, digital); serves as the subject matter expert for the RFO on market systems/software.
Qualifications
• 3-5 years marketing or related experience
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field. Experience in a specialized area of marketing (direct marketing, e-marketing, communication, analytics, brand positioning, social networking media, etc.) and/or project/program management.
• Knowledge of financial services industry, fraternal benefit societies, or membership organizations a plus.
• Business acumen and the ability to work across the region and collaboratively corporate office.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrates strong project management and collaboration/networking skills
• Demonstrated ability to execute successful marketing initiatives
• Applies a development mindset that uses creativity and marketing expertise to develop new, more effective and more efficient marketing approaches.
• Ability to work independently and effectively to manage multiple projects simultaneously in the face of ambiguity, shifting priorities, and rapid change
