As a Compensation Analyst, you will provide broad-based compensation support to advance strategic business objectives. You will collaborate with managers, executives, and HR business partners in organizational design of job families and pay strategies. Responsibilities will also include participating and leading various HR projects.
What You'll Do
As a Compensation Analyst, you’ll be responsible for:
• Designing, implementing and administering strategically focused compensation programs for assigned business areas within the company.
• Conducting annual market pay analysis to ensure external competitiveness, internal equity, while adhering to company's compensation philosophy.
• Coordinating annual salary surveys and other resources to compile bench-marking information, generate reports, supporting materials and compensation summaries.
• Overseeing annual short-term incentive plan administration.
• Serving as relocation program administrator.
• Creating, analyzing, and delivering a variety of compensation related ad hoc reports.
• Maintaining compensation related tables in PeopleSoft such as job code tables, salary grade tables, etc. Conduct routine audits to maintain data integrity.
• Proactively identifying and recommending resolutions to compensation related issues, which may include pay equity, FLSA classification, attraction/retention, incentive pay, etc.
• Assisting senior management with job analyses, salary band structure and compensation data to recommend appropriate organizational job levels.
What it Takes
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in human resources, finance, or other related field.
• Experience administering human resources compensation programs preferred.
• Ability to routinely identify critical elements, variables and alternatives to develop solutions.
• Strong analytical and organizational problem-solving skills.
• Excellent PC software skills with an emphasis on Excel and Access.
• Ability to organize/prioritize existing resources and incorporate new information in order to implement effective solutions.
• Strong communication and human relation skills, along with an ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to modify communication style both formal and informal to match level of targeted audience.
