Ensure accuracy and timeliness of flow and bulk transfer processes in the deconversion area of the Loan Conversions Department. Position responsible for monitoring team member activities, performing various boarding and transfer functions, and communicating with clients, servicers, vendors and internal staff. Responsible for leading department projects, streamlining processes and overseeing staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee and assist in the client termination transfer process in the deconversion area including: pre-deconversion planning; service release workstation set-up; communication with client and new servicer; and deconversion reporting and settlement.
• Oversee the Interim Servicing for flow clients
• Responsible for staff communication/notifications internally and externally (written/verbal) of missing items and/or issues concerning transfers and flow loans. Escalate unresolved items timely to management to determine appropriate action.
• Ensure that accurate records of direct transfer costs are kept and clients are billed timely.
• Ensure approved goodbye letters are sent timely for outgoing transfers
• Assist supervisor to ensure adequate cross-training of staff to cover all functions at all times.
• Oversee and process and QC service release loans
• Knowledge to perform all functions of Department and perform functions based on needs.
• Assist with development of department policies and procedures
• Assist in projects, improving efficiencies and other duties assigned.
• Communicates internally and externally (written/verbal) on items and/or issues concerning transfers to ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness.
• All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma. College coursework in computer programming preferred. Possess 2 to 4 years experience in mortgage servicing (Similar roles may be acceptable) or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficient use of Microsoft software and loan servicing platform required. Ability to work independently, analytical mindset, organized, and good communication skills required.
