Jackson National Life Distributors LLC (JNLD) has an opening for a VA Product Analyst.
Job Purpose
The VA Product Analyst is responsible for working with the VA Product Manager to manage existing product line, review, and approve marketing materials, and test the illustration system. The VA Product Analyst provides consultation on both Jackson and competitor products to wholesalers and employees. The role will also be responsible for the provision of industry and competitive research, both at a quantitative and qualitative level.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Assists in the management of existing product line.
• Performs role of subject matter expert for assigned products.
• Reviews the product related documentation in company marketing materials for accuracy and completeness.
• Assists in the review of product launch materials.
• Tracks, reviews, and analyzes competitors' annuity product offerings, including designs and commissions (if applicable).
• Update and maintain content of internal competitor product database.
• Produce monthly and quarterly reports showing competitor product specifications.
• Creates and delivers both Jackson and competitor product training materials for sales force.
• Conduct internal and external research projects upon request.
• Tests and monitors illustration software for new and existing products.
• Tracks product performance and reports findings to management.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Working knowledge of the financial services industry and insurance products.
• Must be detail oriented and focused on accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good research and information gathering skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficient with relevant MS Office applications.
Education and Experience Required
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1 – 3 years’ experience required.
• FINRA Series 6 or 7 preferred.
