• Lead and manage a team of system technicians to ensure all contractual requirements are met and delivered as per customer expectations, within scope, cost and schedule.
• Monitor, and mentor to ensure the team is providing a high level of customer satisfaction, implementing site standards and providing best practices.
• Provide systems support and consultation to all end users, internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify key areas of improvement and participate in the development and delivery of system solutions.
• Monitor the overall health of the customer enterprise SCADA system and proactively maintain to ensure uptime and efficiency.
• Assist/Perform troubleshooting, diagnosis and the occasional repair of server and workstations.
• Monitor existing disaster recovery processes and ensure proper function.
• Respond rapidly to all calls for assistance, troubleshooting and system incidents.
• Manage the on-call rotation and ensure after hours coverage.
• Maintain critical interfaces to other systems connected to the building automation system.
• Administer the enterprise building automation system when applicable.
• Provide and or assist with all system analysis and reporting as needed.
• Work with BAS vendors to write and review code as necessary to support new projects or initiatives.
• Provide recommendations for hardware and software replacements and upgrades. Evaluate applicable new technology. Work with BAS vendors to evaluate and upgrade application software when necessary.
• Provide feedback to HVAC Department Head, building occupants, mechanics, supervisors and other stakeholders on projects and other applicable information regarding the BAS.
• Support all HVAC department personnel on a daily basis to identify and correct all site field BAS issues. Provide on the job BAS system training and support for all HVAC department personnel.
