Job Description
This position is responsible for translating credit approvals and raw information into complete, accurate and legally enforceable contracts.
Reviews credit approvals, opens document files and verifies pertinent information, prepares documentation and closes and funds transactions ensuring credit approval conditions and all credit and documentation guidelines are met. Interacts with internal and external customers to coordinate the processing of the transaction. Closes loan or lease and obtains a wide variety of documents to meet closing requirements
Obtains and reviews liens and lien searches. Obtains releases or subordinations of competing filings and processes titles to vehicles. Prepares and processes interim funding for progress payments including vendor agreements and transit insurance.
Utilizes specialized knowledge of the purchasing of non-PCLC paper and assignment documentation for third party originations to complete the more complex tasks.
Books transaction and inputs all informational requirements into system, stores original documents in vault and returns copies to customers. Completes all follow up, prepares documents and audits document files with minimal supervision.
Assists in the sale of PCLC transactions, including non-routine assignments.
Acts as a resource to Contract Associates. May assist manager with day-to-day operational activities including participating in training and providing feedback on employee performance.
Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalency required.
3-5 years relevant experience.
Additional Job Requirements:
Strong written and verbal skills are needed to communicate to internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner and the ability to convey moderately complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Working knowledge of loan and lease documentation. Strong analytical and math skills with the ability to evaluate equipment sales contracts, related documents and data.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain a high level of accuracy and meet tight deadlines. Ability to prioritize and complete multiple responsibilities in a highly efficient manner.
Strong PC skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, internet and leasing software. Ability to learn to use additional programs as needed.
Ability to use own discretion when faced with routine decisions.
Ability to work well with a team and share knowledge and skills.
