Job Title: Financial Associate
Job Description:
• Accounting for BREDS loan portfolio / Real Estate Debt Fund using the Fund’s general ledger, Investran
• Review daily bank activities, record cash activities, and reconcile book vs. bank cash balances
• Maintain information and reconcile loan investments and debt financings in Investran to loan tracking models
• Prepare annual financial statements, quarterly capital statements, investor letters, LP distribution and capital call notifications, BX reporting deliverables, and quarterly work papers for internal review and quarterly reporting support
• Calculate management fee, distributions, waterfall allocations, and IRR
• Assist with ad ‐ hoc projects and system implementations as necessary
Qualifications:
• Ideal candidate would take ownership of and be dedicated to excellence in their work product, be a fast learner, have strong communication and time management skills, and a desire to learn and grow as a professional
• BS (or above) in Accounting is required
• 7-9 years public/private experience is required
• “Big 4” audit experience is preferred
• Experience in the financial services and/or real estate industries is preferred
• Familiarity with Investment Company Accounting is a plus
• Strong Excel skills preferred
• Investran knowledge is a plus
