In specific, the AIG Multinational Knowledge Manager will be responsible for the following areas:
Network coordination of regulatory or operational changes
• Understand the impact of local regulatory or operational changes across the AIG global network, affecting the implementation of multinational programs.
• Work closely with AIG multinational teams to identify improvement opportunities to current processes in place, potentially hindering AIG’s ability to seamlessly implement Multinational programs and/or better serve Multinational clients.
• Design and implement efficient solutions to support complex changes and/or improvement opportunities, working with key stakeholders across different AIG functional areas.
• Work with other members of the AIG global multinational team and key stakeholders across different AIG functional areas to document and communicate new processes and changes.
Knowledge Governance and Country/Regulatory Guidance
• Work with key stakeholders to set, document, maintain and communicate global standards, on specific multinational program design topics and processes related to issues commonly arising in the execution of multinational programs and act as an escalation contact to resolve issues as they arise.
• Contribute to establish a global governance framework on general country/regulatory knowledge and to ensure accuracy and consistency of AIG multinational knowledge.
• Work with other members of the AIG multinational community and the global multinational team to document and communicate regulatory and/or operational changes affecting the design and implementation of multinational programs.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on knowledge queries providing expertise and guidance to the AIG multinational community.
Onboarding of New Multinational Products
Lead the planning and execution of projects related to increase our multinational product and service offerings to AIG Multinational Clients.
• Work closely with product leads to assess the opportunity and understand locally required coverage and service capabilities.
• Plan and execute all necessary activities to assess and enable (where possible) capabilities locally, through the AIG global network.
• Implementation of the Multinational End to End (E2E) process, ensuring that local regulatory and/or operational requirements are captured, documented and considered within the design of the process.
• Ensure risk, governance, compliance and contract certainty through a consistent and seamless Client Experience.
• Develop playbooks and training to Producing and Issuing Offices, launch and roll out the new multinational product.
Skills and Background
• Extensive Multinational program design experience and knowledge. Underwriting or reinsurance expertise is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written.
• Problem solving skills / ability to identify and implement efficient solutions to complex country regulatory issues.
• Strong execution skills.
• Strong project management experience.
• Ability to adapt to change, problem solve, stay calm under pressure, navigate and structure new ideas and initiatives.
• Enthusiastic leader able to inspire colleagues and other stakeholders.
