Master Compensation Analyst
As the Master Compensation Analyst, you’ll serve as the subject matter expert on complex compensation issues. You will partner with the Director of Compensation in developing and implementing a strategic plan for the company’s compensation philosophy and programs to ensure they will meet future business needs. Additionally, you will be responsible for the design and overall administration of a major segment of the company’s compensation programs and processes such as base salary and pay practices, and/or incentive compensation.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field of study (e.g. Business) and 10 years’ experience in Compensation or Human Resources with heavy compensation background.
Knowledge, Skills/Abilities:
• Solid understanding of Federal and State regulations governing compensation and employment including: Fair Labor Standards Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Equal Pay Act, Discrimination in Employment Act.
• Solid understanding of Compensation procedures, principles and concepts in the following areas: base pay administration, management compensation, reward and recognition programs.
• Extensive knowledge and application of job evaluation, market pricing and broad-based compensation.
• Solid understanding of compensation practices and policies.
• Experience solving unique and complex problems that have broad impact on the business.
• Possesses advanced technical expertise in area of compensation programs and compensation systems.
• Strong project management skills with ability to lead large projects.
• Solid analytical skills including the ability to extract data and present findings and recommendations.
• Ability to operate a personal computer with good working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to prepare reports and conduct presentations to management and employees.
• Ability to facilitate discussions and gain consensus at all levels of the business.
• Ability to work with and maintain highly confidential information.
