PeopleSoft Procurement Manager- What This Job Involves
This role is intended to serve as the lead process facilitator for the global implementation of a Procure-to-Pay solution. The candidate will be expected to work with other process SMEs in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting and Operations in order to achieve a smooth transition to the new technology platform on a pre-determined regional implementation schedule. The Procurement Manager should be viewed within JLL as the process documentation expert and “go to” person. They should understand how the technology and processes are designed to work, and know how they really work. These should be individuals with the relationships and ability to drive change throughout JLL.
Key Responsibilities
• Working with other Process SME and outside consultants to document L3/L4 common processes and assist in defining functional requirements
• Identify appropriate use cases, create and execute UAT test scripts
• Lead development of standard operating procedures and training materials
• Lead socialization and promote buy-in across regions and markets
• Lead conference room pilots and demonstrations
• Identifying and driving process improvement opportunities across regions/ countries
• Monitoring process metrics and leveraging continuous improvement tools to drive change and maximize productivity
• Once designed and tested, assume role of the primary functional expert in deployment across regions/countries
Key Capabilities
• Attain functional understanding of PeopleSoft Vendor/Supplier Master maintenance for Procurement Vendors & Suppliers, understanding of delivered P2P/Purchasing business process flows and activities.
• Experience in training (on-site and classroom) and support functions for Procurement systems and processes to end users as required
• Provide general administration and configuration and front line application support
• Contribute to PeopleSoft maintenance and standardization efforts
• Effectively gather information, standardize, design documentation, record/resolve procurement issues
• Skilled in PS Query, Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Communication & presentation skills
• Consensus building
• Conflict resolution
• Collaboration/partnership with key stakeholders
• Driving a project plan to successful outcomes
Requirements
• Minimum 5+ years relevant business experience in the process
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree and certifications preferred
• Fluent in English; additional languages preferred
• Functional understanding of operations and processes from corporate, regional, shared services and local perspectives
• Must be hands-on and detail oriented, able to see big picture
• Flexibility and adaptability; ability to work in ambiguous situations
• The ability to interact and communicate with a diverse set of stakeholders at multiple levels within the organization.
• Willingness to challenge the status quo and back decisions based on data, information & insights
• Aptitude for technology and broad understanding of the current PeopleSoft technology platform.
• Ability to travel up to 25%
