Job Description
The Online Marketing Specialist is primarily responsible for managing and increasing Investors Bank's online marketing presence by promoting the Bank to customers, prospects, employees and the investment community. This is done through branded online initiatives, product-specific internet marketing programs, and electronic corporate communications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Researches and contributes to effective campaigns for external websites. Examples include, but not limited to: Evaluating campaign opportunities; Creating effective banners; and monitoring banner usage.
• Produces effective email marketing campaigns. Examples include, but not limited to: Acquiring email addresses; Creating email campaigns; and inter-connecting with print, as well as creating online account registration and reporting for events.
• Manages aspects of marketing for Online Banking and Mobile Banking in order to drive adoption and improve the user experience. Examples include, but not limited to: Updating online and mobile banking features; updating app details and app developer access for marketing needs, i.e. placing ads within Online Banking, and mobile banners.
• Effectively leads and manages social media campaigns. Examples include, but not limited to: Administration of content; Managing content calendar; Developing a linking strategy; Monitoring content; and Managing bank reputation by monitoring online mentions and resolving negative commentary and communicating to senior management negative or inaccurate commentary found on websites and social media.
• Maintains and manages websites, integration of Kentico EMS and SalesForce, including but not limited to new content creation, branch additions/changes, representative additions/changes, service alerts, integration of 3rd party sites such as online banking, analytics as needed, WCAG accessibility, compliance, and SEO.
• Manage the online advertisers and the supporting activities which would contribute to the success of the Online Bank.
EXTERNAL AND VENDOR RELATIONSHIPS
• Major ones: Zag Interactive- website; SNL- online investor relations; Moz- SEO and branch listings; SiteImprove-website QA, accessibility, SEO; Google- branch listings, Facebook-Twitter-LinkedIn-YouTube- social media; Meltwater- online mentions, Social Assurance- social media management and compliance. This involves daily interaction regarding various projects and relationship development on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college or university with a major in Business Administration or Marketing is required.
• 5 years' online marketing experience.
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Proficiency in website development and management software, social media management, product development experience, and strong writing abilities.
DESIRED
• Experience with HTML web and email programming, Salesforce, Google Adwords, Facebook advertising, Google Analytics, mobile bank applications, Kentico EMS or website content management software, domain management services, ADA website compliance, and social media monitoring software.
