Product Manager
I. JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the CIO, the Product Manager is responsible for the operational, tactical and strategic leadership of cross functional team that maintains a defined technology software product. This role focuses on
II. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Day to day management of a cross functional and tech centric Product team
• Drive the product the roadmap and product initiatives from inception through execution to meet company goals
• Work with leadership across the organization on process and automation best practices
• Be a partner to front-line leaders and employees as we think to reimagine their process: be curious, humble and a team player
• Focus on process optimization, driving how both technology and front-line employees can deliver a simple, human and delightful customer experience
• Work in collaboration with Software Development, Software Quality Assurance, DevOps, Infrastructure and other technology and business teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
• Participate with other teams in implementation planning, Disaster Recovery planning and other technology wide projects as needed.
• Mentor the product team regarding best practices concerning requirements gathering, testing, process modeling and using product management tools
• Maintains a professional image and adheres to standards consistent with company policies and procedures.
III. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a director, management or other leadership role
• Experience in Mortgage, Banking, or Loan Servicing preferred
• Work experience in a product development or similar role preferred
• Track record of working collaboratively and delivering results with cross-functional teams.
• Effective at prioritizing multiple work streams and resolving competing priorities
• Data-driven and iterative learning style
• Bias toward action and know how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment
• Excellent communication skills with experience giving strategic presentations
• Bonus if you have done process optimization and/or automation
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environment to work through issues, obstacles or other challenges.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to perform in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent PC skills, including Office or similar productivity suites. Ability to learn additional programs as required to complete job responsibilities
• Demonstrated judgment and decision making ability.
• Must be able to work off hours as required to complete job duties.
