GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
This position will provide subject matter expertise and direction on complex projects/initiatives for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility. S/he will also act as a subject matter expert to applicable internal/external stakeholders. S/he will research trends and opportunities and help to develop complex programs and processes to close gaps and ensure growth. S/he will consult and collaborate with stakeholders to enable delivery of business results through project work to support process changes and performance management strategies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership
• Builds organizational capability within the team including sharing technical expertise and coaching team members.
• Manages team ensuring workloads are appropriately balanced among team members.
• Manages and responds to escalated issues and concerns for assigned area(s) of responsibilities.
• Ensures that top talent is hired and retained.
• Provides training and development opportunities, including stretch assignments, for team members and gives honest and open feedback to aid in the development of talent.
Collaboration
• Directs and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives.
• Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects.
• Provides direction on complex assignments, projects, and/or initiatives to build and enhance the capability of the team.
• Consults and acts as a subject matter expert to appropriate internal and/or external stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Identifies, documents and delivers findings that can support complex business process improvements, performance and/or customer experience improvements.
• Provides timely updates to internal and external stakeholders regarding relevant information from other areas across the enterprise.
• Responds to complex inquiries and needs from other business units and enterprise divisions.
Process Improvement
• Identifies and directs the implementation of process improvements that significantly improve quality across the team, department and/or business unit.
• Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends, assesses the impact, and collaborates with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
• Consults and acts as a subject matter expert to management and key stakeholders on identified process improvements that impact efficiency, departmental capabilities and/or return on investment.
• Researches and analyzes complex performance data for business and analytical value.
• Determines and communicates research recommendations to complex problems and supporting analysis to management.
• Develops complex business requirements.
• Maintains tracking, measurement and accountability programs for various initiatives.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
• 5+ Years experience in Business Process Improvement including project management experience that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position. (Required)
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
• Travel Type: National Domestic
• Travel Amount: up to 50%
