Job Description
We are seeking a Director to lead our digital performance desk in the Marketing team in Latin America and the Caribbean. The role will be responsible for creating the area from scratch, including strategy, technology partners, agency liaison, deployment and on-going performance optimization specially but not limited to programmatic and search, creation of attribution modules in partnership with our data team and flawless execution in conjunction with the LAC countries of media plans with focus on driving business results and innovation. Core responsibilities will include strategic performance technology stack, on-going media optimization in conjunction with the media agencies, performance and predictable modules analysi and CRM. The position reports to LAC Senior Director of Media, Digital and Content and will partner with marketing, business leads and agencies, driving high visibility campaigns and marketing initiatives. The role offers a strong intersection of strategic media planning, media analytics and omni-channel campaign planning and execution in addition to dynamic content creation and advertising optimization based on performance measures. You will have the opportunity to translate Visa Latin America’s marketing goals and content strategy into integrated media plans that help drive business results. The role also requires passion for creating capabilities and developing the Visa Team on the newest and more effective media strategies, business acumen and strong communication and leadership skills
Specific Requirements:
• Create of a performance desk for LAC for digital media (programmatic, search, facebook, and others), including strategy, technology stack (DSP, DMP, 1st, 2d and 3r party data) and agency interaction.
• Daily execution of a performance desk for LAC for all digital media plans in conjunction with the media agencies, including on-going optimization in costs, assets, publishers
• Support the media team peers with recommendation on best formats, publishers, costs (CPM, CPC, CPV, etc)
• Work with stakeholders, market leads and agencies to produce fully integrated, regional media campaigns across traditional, digital, search and social channels
• Act as the day-to-day lead contact for digital media plans and campaign managers across the team in the region
• Partner with cross functional teams, agency and media partners to drive seamless execution
• Strong communication skills to brief agency partners, media publishers and network partners to develop effective media plans and breakthrough programs
• Leverage DMP to target and re-target customers effectively and deliver seamless experience
• Partner with Analytics team to deploy attribution modules and to track and analyze key media metrics, evaluate campaign performance and actively optimize to ensure media plan efficiency and integrity
• Develop and deploy a CRM strategy, including technology stack, campaign objectives based on the predictive modules and re-targeting.
• Establish media best practices and stay abreast of key media and digital trends
• Manage multiple work streams, drive flawless execution and have a passion for testing
• Drive innovation and optimization across media ecosystem in service of helping to evolve Visa’s go-to-market approach
• Collaborates with internal Marketing/IT/Product and external agency functions on the development and implementation of marketing tools
• Own the media spend control with the agencies and finance.
• Lead and develop 1 marketing analyst.
Qualifications
• 10+ years of digital experience, with planning expertise across the entire digital media ecosystem (from SEO, programmatic, facebook, Google, Twitter, content, agency/client relationship, deals negotiation, media planning and performance)
• 5+ years of experience leading digital performance at a digital media agency or at a performance desk in the industry at a highly digital and consumer centric company
• In-depth knowledge of programmatic, facebook & search buying and optimization, DMP, DSP, CRM, SEO and tagging,
• In-depth knowledge of digital media latest best practice including data fraud prevention, viewability, content safety tools such as IAS.
• Pan Regional media experience in Latin America
• Understand how media impacts a consumer’s circuitous decision journey (from awareness, consideration, conversion, advocacy)
• Experience in business development (e.g. working with Sales to build out and present marketing portions of RFP proposals) a plus.
• Proficiency in content and communication development and optimization (DCO)
• Fluency in Spanish and English. Portuguese a plus.
• Strong collaborative skills who can pivot between strategy, creative and internal marketing teams with ease and speed
• Flexible and resilient leader as demonstrated by adaptability, professional maturity and ability to manage by influence
• Strong knowledge of media technical fundamentals and optimization tools for maximizing efficiency and efficacy across the media mix
• Entrepreneurial spirit, hands on, ability to self-manage.
