Director Operations
Pacific Life’s Retirement Solution Division (RSD) is seeking a dynamic, service-focused leader to fill a new Directorrole within our industry-renowned Operationsdepartment! This individual will lead multiple, collaborative teams, supporting a wide spectrum of annuity contract processing functions. Through service excellence, these teams significantly impact our clients’ choice to conduct their business through Pacific Life. Director will be responsible for oversight and monitoring of all transaction handling, meeting productivity and quality goals that set the industry standard for superior service, while driving an agile and innovative organization that can quickly adapt to meet continual industry change and the evolving needs of our clients. Active involvement in project working groups and functional department budget oversight will be ongoing.
Our Operations teams also strive to foster a work environment that balances attainment of service objectives with a culture of open communication and employee development. The perfect candidate will possess the ability to model and cultivate leadership that promotes these essential qualities across all staff. Director will be actively involved with communicating direction across teams, while ensuring effective hiring, onboarding, training and career development, and performance management practices are in place, and to meet both employee and organizational needs. Role will report directly to the AVP, Operations.
• Bachelors degree in business or related field
• 7 years of financial services Operations and leadership experience, with proven focus on service
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to drive vision and purpose and create a culture of open communication.
• Able to work effectively with multiple levels of staff, leadership, and clients.
• Demonstrated ability to build, direct and grow successful and motivated teams
• Able to effectively lead projects and drive innovative efforts in support of organizational change and growth
• FINRA Series 6 or 7 license preferred.
