Job Description
Senior Human Resource Generalist needed for Global Company in Morris County. Senior HR Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management and business peers/management to support designated business groups.
• Recruitment, offers, employment and onboarding administration;
• Employee relations, performance management and compensation administration
• Administers various human resource plans and procedures
• Assists in developing and implementing personnel policies and procedures for assigned business area
• Contributes to the development and maintenance of employee handbook and policies/procedures manual
• Policy implementation and employment law compliance
• Assist with compensation planning and administration
• Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation as needed
• Demonstrated understanding of federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations
• May assist with Payroll and benefits administration
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field is required; Human resources certification a plus.
• Minimum of 6 years relevant and progressive HR experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of Federal and State Employment Law for multiple locations preferred.
• Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational development, employee relations, diversity, performance management and recruiting.
• Above average expertise with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

• Demonstrates ability to develop and maintain strong trusted relationships with managers and a trusted "go to" person for employees when needed; ensures confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
• Strong business and financial acumen, analytical skills and judgment; manages ambiguity effectively
• Exceptional listening, written and verbal skills; easily engages/enables dialogue to solicit and build upon ideas
• Demonstrates strong presentation skills; influences decisions with significant business impact
• Capitalizes effectively on internal and external business relationships to influence tailored HR solutions to meet business needs, ensuring compliance with HR policies & practices and any legal requirements;
• Seeks opportunities for improved process performance and results; applies past knowledge to resolve issues
• Strong knowledge in HR disciplines (comp, recruiting, performance management, employee relations, etc.
• Works well under pressure and within cost/time constraints; strong organization, time, detail and process orientation
• Aptitude and willingness to develop advanced knowledge and skills; self-starter
• Strong project management skills; manages multiple assignments; adjusts direction and priorities as needed
• Creative, flexible, and adaptable in a changing business environment
• Demonstrates understanding of affirmative action program and EEO-1 reporting
• Working knowledge of payroll and benefit administration
